John Rawley is the founder of The Alternative Comedy Theater, and is a founding member of the Dallas based improv comedy troupe The Victims. John performs regularly in Dallas, TX and has also performed at comedy festivals and venues all over the country including Out of Bounds (Austin, TX), The Out of the Loop Fringe Festival (Dallas, TX), The Black Box Improv Festival (Atlanta, Georgia), The Gainesville Improv Festival (Gainesville, FL), The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, The Broadway Comedy Club (NYC), Coldtowne Theater (Austin, TX), Satori Coffee House (Mobile, AL), The Hideout (Austin, TX) and The Parkside Lounge (NYC).
John has been a working actor and writer since 1993 and has appeared in commercials (both television and radio) and industrial films for Frito-Lay, Office Depot, Pier One, Motorola, Wrigley’s Polar Ice Gum, The Washington Post, Texaco, KFC, Southwest Airlines, Radio Shack, Gamestop, Mission Tortillas, and Linens-n-Things. His film and television credits include Serving Sara, LAX, A House Divided, Chase, and Temple Grandin. He is represented by The Mary Collins Agency (marycollins.com).
He has written several plays, including Whereabouts Unknown, which is published by Dramatic Publishing (www.dramaticpublishing.com), and written articles for Dramatics Magazine (www.edta.org). He also writes commercial copy, and corporate industrial film scripts.
He has been directing improv workshops since 1997, and in addition to teaching actors at The Alternative Comedy theater, he has worked with Frisco I.S.D., Plano I.S.D., Seagoville I.S.D., Little Elm I.S.D., Wylie I.S.D., Collin College, Tarrant County College, The US Actors Company, and the Texas Educational Theatre Association.
Kyle Eric Bradford has been professionally performing improv for over a decade. He has been instructing improv classes since 2010. He has directed such teams as O.U. Improv, Metaforeplay, Sondheimlich Maneuver, The Y Archives and many coached many more. He has taught long-form classes for the ACT since 2013 and serves as the Artistic Director. He holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma and serves as Patron Services and Community Engagement Manager at WaterTower Theatre.
